Just for Kids, an early learning child care facility, will be this year's beneficiary of Jacksonville Kiwanis Club's 0.5K Walk, Skip, Run or Roll on April 1.

Just for Kids, an early learning child care facility, will be this year's beneficiary of Jacksonville Kiwanis Club's 0.5K Walk, Skip, Run or Roll.

The annual run and walk will begin at 11 a.m. April 1 at Bahan's Tavern in downtown Jacksonville. The route will end about a third of a mile away at Don's Place. Wood N Nickel will be playing at Don’s Place after the race.

Just for Kids intends to use the proceeds from the event to continue support for children age 2-12 and to help prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

The event has raised about $60,000 over the past decade.
