Coach Ben Davis said, “The girls scored in 16 out of 17 events.  It will take a total team effort like this to finish out the postseason to our potential.  Kylie broke Tarrin Scott’s long-standing long jump record at 18’ 4 1/2”.  We had excellent 1-2 finishes out of Lexi and Kelsey in discus and Kylie and Callie in the 300 hurdles.  Ava and Kylie were part of 7 firsts between the two.”

Indian Lake girls track team won the Lima Shawnee track Invitational scoring 149 points followed by Elida 103, Lima Shawnee 99, Lima Senior 41, and Lima Central Catholic 35.

Winning events was Elayna Richardson in the 100 m dash (12.94), Reece Martin in the 100 m hurdles (17.18), Addison Beck in high jump (4-8), Stephanie Altstaetter in shot put (34-10), Maddie Miller in discus (96-2.5), and the 4×100 team of Richardson, R. Martin, Addison Beck and Ava Huffman (51.86), the 4×200 team of Richardson, Huffman, Cameron Finfrock and Ashlynn Biederman (1:53), and the 4×400 team of Richardson, Rash, Finfrock and R. Martin (4:15).

Finishing second was Reece Martin in long jump (14-11), Maddie Miller in shot put (31-7), Stephanie Altstaetter in discus (95-5), and the 4×100 team of Beck, Altstaetter, M. Miller and Meadow McCullough (58.29)

Finishing third was Reagan Rash in the 1600 m run (5:50), Meadow McCullough in high jump (4-8), the 4×800 relay team of K. Miller, Makayla Motter, Andi Miller and Maggie Reese (13:04), the 800 sprint relay of K. Miller, Rash, Finfrock and Biederman (2:04), and the distance medley relay of McCullough, Motter, Reece and A. Miller (17:36)

KaiLea Miller was fourth in the 1600 m run (5:55)

Placing fifth was Ava Huffman in long jump (14-5)

Adding sixth-place finishes was Addison Beck in the 100 m dash (13.98), and Gillian Taylor in the 100 m hurdles (21.46).

The Laker boys placed second scoring 99 points. Lima Shawnee won with 171 points. Lima Central Catholic 66, Elida 57, and Lima Senior 48.

Winning events was Ryan Culp in pole vault (11-0).

Placing second was Isaac Morrison in high jump (5-8), Gavin Henry in 110 hurdles (17.49), the distance medley of Tony Cummins, Jayden Martin, Titus Kelly and Bryan Mohler (13:26),

Placing third was Vincent Wilson in pole vault (7-0), Caiden Gauntt in high jump (5-6), Tony Cummins in the 1600 m run (5:29), Quest Clay in the 100 m dash (12.25), the 4×800 team of Silas Noah Creek and Mohler (10:23), the 4×400 team of Bryan Mohler, Jacob Freyhof, Everett Wischmeyer, and Drake Cosby (3:49), the 4×200 Cosby, E. Wischemeyer, Heath Wilson and Gavin Henry (1:40), and the 4×100 Ironman team of Sickles-Sposa, Heath Wilson, Christopher Timms, and Culp (53.69).

Placing fourth was Titus Kelly in the 1600 m run (5:48), the 800 sprint relay team of Gauntt, Morrison, Draden Stevenson and Quest Clay (1:42), and the 4×100 relay of Morrison, Gauntt, Clay, and Cosby (46.99)

Placing fifth was Charles Sickles-Sposa in discus (103-9.5), Isaac Morrison is long jump (18-7.5), and Draden Stevenson in the 100 m dash (12.55).
